Jawan[3] (transl. Soldier) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Atlee. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani.[4][5] The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.[6]

Principal photography commenced in September 2021 with filming taking place in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad. Jawan was initially planned to release on 2nd June 2023, but was postponed due to post-production needing more work [7].
